When did you switch to boudoir?
I've been getting this question some lately. And to be honest, it's fair. Those who've been around my little corner of the internet for a while now know that for the past 7+ years I've been a newborn, family, and senior photographer. And lately I've been starting to grow a new side of my business, boudoir. And while building I've been talking about it, marketing it, sharing it blogging about it, all the things you do to build a following.
So I totally understand the question. What I want you to know is I am NOT stopping the family side of my business. I still LOVE being invited to capture the sweet moments as your family grows and will continue to take your photos in that capacity.
AND. I am also 100% in love with boudoir photography.

So why the addition?
From the outside, this may look like a huge shift in my business, but I really don't see it that way.
When you think about who my clients already are (who's booking the photo session, who's filling out the questionnaire, who's reading all the prep guides and getting their crew ready, who's looking through the images and selecting the one's they love most, who's leaving me reviews and tagging my business to help me grow) it's women.
As I've grown in my photography business I've learned that I am passionate about serving the women who hire me well. I love to get to know them, help them prepare for their session, hear their stories, listen to their hardships and celebrate their wins. So really, it seems like a really logical step to me to pour back into these amazing women with a photo session that is just about them!

Real Talk.
Boudoir photography is so much more than just pretty pictures in lingerie. For me, it’s about creating a space where women can show up as their full selves—raw, real, powerful, and beautiful. It’s about helping you see yourself the way the rest of the world sees you… or maybe in a way you’ve never seen yourself before.
I started offering boudoir sessions because I saw how many women were craving permission to feel confident in their own skin. Life throws a lot at us—motherhood, relationships, body changes, heartbreak, healing. Somewhere along the way, we’re told to shrink, to stay quiet, to stop celebrating who we are. And I say: absolutely not.
Boudoir is my way of helping you push back on those messages. It’s an experience designed to remind you that you are bold, stunning, and worthy—right now, not ten pounds from now or five years ago. I’ve worked with women who walked into the studio nervous, unsure, even a little skeptical… and walked out standing taller, glowing, and saying, “I didn’t know I could feel this good about myself.”
This isn’t about being “perfect”—this is about being you. Unfiltered. Unapologetic. Whether you’re celebrating a new chapter, healing from the last one, or just need a confidence boost, I’m here to hold space for you to shine.
So if you’ve ever thought, “I could never do something like that”—I promise you, you absolutely can. And I’ll be there every step of the way, cheering you on, showing you just how powerful and beautiful you already are.
Let’s do this for you. You’re more than ready. 💫
